1.气候

今日夏至。此时节，日照充足，雨丰昼长，瓜果渐熟。蛙鸣伴蝉吟，盛夏已然至。夏至，是北半球各地白昼时间达到全年最长的一天；是北半球在一年中，正午太阳的地平高度最高的一天。

古人将夏至分为三候：一候鹿角解，二候蝉始鸣，三候半夏生。夏至，鹿角开始脱落；五天后，知了鼓翼而鸣；再过五日，骄阳似火，浓荫难求，一些像半夏一类的喜阴植物开始生长。

Weather

Today is the Summer Solstice. During this solar term, there is plenty of sunshine, abundant rain and long

daytime, and the fruits and vegetables are gradually ripening. Midsummer arrives in the concerto of the croak of frogs and the chirping of cicadas. On the Summer Solstice, daylight lasts the longest and the sun reaches its maximum height above the horizon of the whole year in the Northern Hemisphere.

Ancients divided the Summer Solstice into three phases: in the first phase, antlers fall off; in the second phase, cicadas chirp; in the third phase, Pinellia ternata grows. On the Summer Solstice,antlers begin to peel. Five days later, cicadas flutter and chirp. In another five days, shade is hard to find under the blazing sunlight, and some shade-loving plants like Pinellia ternata start to grow.

2．农事

作为农业指南的夏至时节，齐鲁大地迎来夏粮收获的喜悦时刻，随之而来的是夏播作物播种的重要窗口期。

此时正值夏种、夏管的关键时期，我省各地农民抢抓农时，避开高温，田间地头到处一派忙碌的景象。

Farming

During the Summer Solstice, which serves as an agricultural guide, the joyful moment of harvest arrives in Shandong, followed by an important window period for sowing summer crops.

At this time, it is a crucial period for summer planting and management. Farmers in Shandong seize the farming season for agricultural production and try to avoid the adverse effect of high temperature weather, forming a scene of busy farming.

3.习俗

在山东，各地夏至食俗虽有差异，吃凉面却是共同的。

夏至后，天气日渐炎热，与此同时，经过“小荷才露尖尖角”后，池塘中的荷花也迎来了开得正艳丽的时节，赏荷便成为民俗活动之一。

Custom

In Shandong, although there are differences in the eating customs of the Summer Solstice, eating cold noodles is common.

After the Summer Solstice, the weather becomes increasingly hot. At the same time, after the stage of “the little lotus has just shown its tip”, the lotus flowers in the ponds are in full bloom, and appreciating the lotus flowers has become one of the folk activities.
