China-Philippines Economic, Trade and Cultural Exchange Conference Successfully Held in Yucheng City

Vocational Education Cooperation Started a New Chapter

From June 18th to 19th, the China (Yucheng)-Philippines Economic, Trade and Cultural Exchange Conference, along with the investment launch ceremony of SOMAGO International Holding Company (Shandong), was grandly held in Yucheng City.

Distinguished Chinese and international guests attended, including Jaime FlorCruz, Philippine Ambassador to China, and Jiang Yaoping, former Vice Minister of China’s Ministry of Commerce.

During the signing ceremony, Yucheng Vocational Education Center and Angeles University Foundation (Philippines) signed a strategic cooperation agreement.

SOMAGO International Holding Company reached agreements on overseas service cooperation with enterprises including Yuwang Group.

These marked the entry of China-Philippines economic, trade and cultural exchanges into a new phase.

Prior to the event, Mr. Glenn G. Pearanda, Commercial Counselor of the Philippine Department of Trade and Industry, conducted a special inspection of Yucheng Vocational Education Center.

The delegation visited the campus's practical training facilities and spoke highly of its advanced educational conditions and achievements in industry-education integration.

Counselor Pearanda stated, "The professional strengths of Yucheng Vocational Education Center in fields like cross-border e-commerce are impressive. We look forward to facilitating more Filipino students to pursue further studies here."

During the conference, guests also attended keynote lectures on SOMAGO's supply chain technology, the Philippine investment environment, and the development of cross-border e-commerce. They conducted on-site inspections of key local enterprises.

Representatives from 35 Yucheng companies participated in exchange and matchmaking sessions.

The conference yielded productive results, laying a solid foundation for practical cooperation between China and the Philippines.

Both sides expressed their commitment to accelerating the implementation and effectiveness of cooperative projects.

Against the backdrop of the deep alignment between China's Belt and Road Initiative and the Philippines' BBB Program, China-Philippines vocational education cooperation, along with economic, trade, and cultural exchanges are poised to embrace broader development prospects.
