On behalf of Shandong Provincial Government, Governor Zhou Naixiang delivered a government work report to the Second Session of the 14th Shandong Provincial People's Congress which was opened on the morning of January 22, 2024.
枣庄石榴、乳山牡蛎、黄河故道桑黄……这些“土特产”写进省政府工作报告。他们都有哪些特点？博物致知，土、特、产，每个字都暗含着乡村振兴的发力点。
The Zaozhuang Pomegranate, Rushan Oyster, and Sanghuang on the Old Yellow River Course... These local special products are written into the government work report, each possessing unique characteristics that drive the rural revitalization.

乡村振兴发力点在哪儿？土、特、产，每个字都给人启发。“土”讲的是基于一方水土，“特”讲的是突出地域特点，“产”讲的是真正建成产业、形成集群。
What are the driving forces for revitalization in rural areas? One can find inspiration from three key factors: local, special, and product. "Local" is about leveraging local natural resources, "special" is about highlighting regional characteristics, and "product" is about establishing industries and forming industrial clusters.

To transform local "hidden gem" specialties into bestselling "eye-catching products," we must focus on variety, quality, and branding. In recent years, Shandong has been committed to forging the brand "Remarkable Shandong" and taken actions to enhance agricultural branding. This has transformed an increasing number of local specialties into prestigious products, and allowed more Shandong quality products to reach national and international markets, thus promoting the high-quality agricultural development, accelerating the building of a modern agricultural sector, and contributing to Shandong's rural revitalization.
回眸2023年，山东加快推动乡村振兴齐鲁样板提档升级，粮食产量再创历史新高，乡村产业蓬勃发展，农民收入较快增长，农村社会和谐稳定，样板成色越来越足。
Looking back at 2023, Shandong made great efforts to advance rural revitalization and set a model, seeing a record high of grain production, booming rural industries, higher income of farmers, and harmonious and stable society in rural areas.
春为岁首，逐梦未来。未来一年，期待山东以更大力度打造乡村振兴齐鲁样板，持续用力、久久为功，努力描绘产业特色突出、人才竞相涌现、文化繁荣兴盛、生态环境优美、组织坚强有力的乡村振兴壮美画卷。
As spring heralds the start of the year, we chase dreams of the future. In the upcoming year, Shandong will redouble its efforts to serve as a fine example of rural revitalization, to paint a magnificent tapestry of rural revitalization characterized by distinctive industries, an influx of talented personnel, a thriving culture, a beautiful environment, and strong organizations.
